My name is Jinqi Liu, the photographer behind Jinki Photography, though many friends and clients know me as Richard. “Jinki” is simply an easier spelling of my name that helps with pronunciation while still staying true to its origins.

Based in Los Angeles, I photograph weddings throughout Southern California. With a cinematic style shaped by years of dedication to photography and the trust of my clients, I capture love stories that are authentic, emotional, and timeless.

Over the years, after photographing 100+ weddings, I’ve come to see something more than just beautiful moments — I’ve witnessed how each wedding reflects the relationship behind it. The way people interact, respond, and experience the day often reveals what truly matters.

My approach focuses on telling the full story of your wedding day — not just posed portraits, but the genuine moments, emotions, and atmosphere that make your celebration uniquely yours.
